Barcelona will be hosting its 14th Modernista Fair on 1st, 2nd and 3rd June. This years’ event will be dedicated to Lluïsa Vidal, one of the few woman modernista painters who made their passion into a profession.

The Association of Shopkeepers and Professionals of Coreixample have lined up all kinds of fun and cultural activities during this period at their shops, offices, restaurants and bars, as well as a crafts market and a stall selling modernista items. There will be a total of 180 stalls set up for the occasion.

The Association of Shopkeepers and Professionals of  Coreixample have also organised crafts workshops, activities for kids, evenings of live music, a card game championship  as well as the vintage car procession, the VI Rua de Cotxes Antics de la Fira. If you visit the fair you’ll also be able to enjoy the  modernista pianola, the modernista photocall, and an exhibition of modernista food posters from the Concepció Market, as well as the modernista show “Els secrets de Mr. Stromboli”.

For yet another year, Barcelona will be travelling back in time and at Barcelona Shopping City we invite you to visit the fair and let yourselves be transported by the modernista spirit.
