175 years of Santa Eulalia

There is no shop more historic on the  Barcelona Shopping Line than Santa Eulalia, which celebrates its 175th anniversary this year.

Founded in 1843, when the Valls i Taberner family opened their first fabric shop near the Boquería Market. Since then, the business has lived through difficult moments and moved with the times.

Currently located on Passeig de Gràcia,  Santa Eulalia is one of the city’s foremost fashion stores. The shop has more than 2,000 m2 of retail space and you’ll find a handpicked selection of luxury labels and collections for men and women by the world’s leading designers.  Its atelier also offers quality bespoke tailoring and shirt making that has earned it an excellent reputation in Spain and abroad.

To celebrate its 175th anniversary, on 7th April Santa Eulalia has prepared a big performance designed by the Catalan artist Antoni Miralda. The parade will start at its old premises on the Pla de la Boquería and end at the current store at 93, Passeig de Gràcia.
