One of Barcelona’s most popular and iconic races, the Cursa del Corte Inglés, will take place on Sunday 8th April.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the first race, making it particularly special. The racecovers a distance of 10.7 kilometres and has become one of the most important events of its kind in the city.

If you haven’t signed up yet, you can do so in person until Friday 6th April at any El Corte Inglés department store in Catalonia. Online registration is open until Thursday 5th April at 10pm (under 16s must register in person).

It is free to register and the money raised from the event and advertising will be donated to the Pallapupas NGO to raise awareness of theimportant work they carry out in helping children and elderly hospital patients, their families and even medical and nursing staff.

At Barcelona Shopping City we hope you’ll take part in one of the world’s most popular races and welcome this initiative that shows solidarity and support for organisations that help improve the lives of people in difficult situations.
