Fashion, music, fine food and culture come together at the 9th Shopping Night Barcelona. The event will take place on the evening of 22nd November – tying in with the switch-on of the Christmas lights and the start of the Christmas shopping campaign – with shops, hotels and restaurants on Passeig de Gràcia taking part.

The aim of the event is to bring back the festive spirit and boost sales over the Christmas period. Many shops will be offering special discounts, decorating their windows for the festive season and hosting a variety of activities.

Music will be one of the new features of this year’s Shopping Night with seven stages placed along the Passeig de Gràcia and its adjacent streets. As they walk up the boulevard, members of the public will go on a chronological journey through the history of music, from the 1920s to the present day, and enjoy the many cultural activities and entertainments associated with each period.

Food will also play a central role in the event, with hotels and restaurants taking part in a tasting platter trail, where you’ll be able to sample the finest Christmas dishes prepared by renowned chefs at affordable prices.
