Itaca, a 40-year passion for ceramics, a 40-year passion for collecting

At Barcelona Shopping City we would like to celebrate with you the 40th anniversary of Itaca l’Art del Poble, one of the shops included in the new initiative, Barcelona Unique Shops, the handpicked selection of shops that provide a distinctive shopping experience in Barcelona due to their unique products and premises.

Itaca’s love of the arts led it to explore a different world, drawing on time-honoured skills with passion and a great deal of sacrifice. A shop that has devoted itself to selling and reviving folk art since 1977.

A selection of unique pieces tracing its 40-year history can be seen at the Centre d’Artesania de Catalunya (Carrer dels Banys Nous, 11)
