Catalan Book Week

A new edition of Catalan Book Week kicks off on 9th September.

Now in its 40th year, the Week has become the major showcase for the autumn publishing season in Catalonia and is also the ideal setting for publishers from abroad to get together and to bring to a wider audience authors from around the world who will be visiting the event. This year’s Catalan Book Week will take place from 9th to 18th September at the Moll de la Fusta quay, where readers, publishers, booksellers and authors will come together.

This year, there will be more than 250 activities and events for everyone: talks, book presentations and signings, literary trails around the city that have inspired best-selling books, activities for kids and families, music…

The bookshop, La Central, would like to invite you to enjoy this celebration of the printed page, where you’ll be able to discover new things, exchange opinions and find new and classic books and magazines published in Catalan.

This year La Central will be at booths 43, 17 and 18.
