Barcelona Shopping Line invites you to take a stroll and discover the Creu Coberta retail hub, which is situated in Plaça Espanya and continues along Carrer de Sants to l’Hospitalet de Llobregat. Spanning 4 km, it is the longest retail hub in Europe, with more than 800 establishments, some of which can point to a century-old tradition. The shops, bars and restaurants, markets and services have a strong Mediterranean character, with an emphasis on locally sourced products.

Come along this Saturday, 13 May, and you can enjoy a special day with many activities at the XII Mostra del Comerç (Retail Show). A special Event against Violence will be held just after noon at 12.15 pm on the main stage. Various dance centres will take part in an activity whose aim is to denounce acts of violence in our society.

The hub’s Meeting Point has a visitor information service, providing information about the shops and the surrounding area, while it has also become a focal point for cultural activities, entertaining local people and visitors alike. From 13 May, you will also find the exhibition devoted to the Talent Awards, an initiative launched three years ago, which seeks to give emerging designers, artisans, musicians, students and enthusiasts an opportunity to create new music, new texts and stories, new designs and new objects that are representative of Barcelona.
