Diada de Sant Jordi 2019

On 23rd April, Barcelona celebrates the Diada de Sant Jordi, one of the loveliest days to spend in the city. The streets are filled with stalls selling roses and books, as the date also coincides with World Book Day.

The day has a really festive feel and you’ll be able to enjoy lots of activities, including book signings by famous authors at bookshops, shopping centres and stands around the city.

At the Turisme de Barcelona information offices you’ll find all the information you’ll need to enjoy this special day. Take advantage and visit the Bcn Original shops where you’ll find a handpicked selection of products bearing Barcelona’s distinctive seal of quality and design. You’ll also receive our “Book-Rose” tote bag designed by the Sweden-based Catalan graphic designer and illustrator MAGOZ, who has created this image for Sant Jordi 2019.
