El Corte Inglés gives a major boost to fine food and is committed to including new products

El Corte Inglés brings its visitors the most exclusive fashion and accessories brands, the latest perfumes and cosmetics, cutting-edge jewellery and timepieces, the finest gifts, electronic goods and much more. It also stocks the most select gourmet products at its Club del Gourmet and has a restaurant serving typical dishes.

El Corte Inglés is committed to innovation and home-made cuisine. It gives a major boost to fine food and dining by continuing to introduce new dining options and dishes and specialities from around the world.

Japanese mochis are a new addition to this select choice of food. The daifuku mochi is a typical sweet treat made by hand from mochigome dough (a flour made with glutinous Japanese rice), which is moulded into the desired shaped and stuffed with a filling of your choice. You’ll find 17 different varieties of these Japanese delicacies at the Club del Gourmet inside El Corte Inglés in Plaça Catalunya and Avinguda Diagonal, right in the centre of Barcelona.
