Europe’s most famous Christmas shop opens in Barcelona

Europe’s most famous Christmas shop, Käthe Wohlfahrt, has chosen Barcelona as the location for its first shop in Spain.

Located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, the shop offers more than 300m2 of retail space to bring us the spirit of Christmas all year round.

The shop recreates a Christmas village with a 4.5-metre high tree in the centre around which you’ll find a wide variety of unique and richly detailed items and decorations created by craftsmen and women from the finest-quality materials.

They have created exclusive items for the Barcelona shop inspired by the city: Gaudiesque designs, the trademark yellow and black taxi, the traditional pooping figure, the ‘caganer’, and even the Virgin of Montserrat, or Black Madonna, to hang from your Christmas tree.
