Firantoni and El Dominical del Llibre

At the Barcelona Shopping Line we would like to recommend an alternative weekend activity. Come to the Sant Antoni neighbourhood, one of Barcelona’s most vibrant retail quarters.

On Saturday 10th June, you can visit the retail fair Firantoni.  It will be open from 10am to 8.30pm and you’ll find street stalls run by the different shops from the area. Together with the stalls from the food fair, the Mercat d’Alimentació de Sant Antoni, they will bring all kinds of activities and produce to the neighbourhood.

You’ll also be able to visit the Sunday book fair, The Dominical del Llibre de Sant Antoni, which opens from 8.30am to 2.30pm. You’ll find all kinds of second-hand books, comics, music, stamps, films, toys and much, much more.

This market was founded almost 100 years ago and is a real gem well worth exploring which is a regular meeting point for culture vultures and bookworms, young and old.

Make sure you don’t miss one of Barcelona’s most iconic markets!
