Käthe Wohlfahrt and its products inspired by Catalonia

Käthe Wohlfahrt is the Barcelona shop where it’s Christmas all year round. It’s a magical place that will transport you to a village in the Bavarian Alps. Every product is hand-made, with exclusive designs that show painstaking attention to detail.

At Käthe Wohlfahrt’s Barcelona shop you’ll find a wide range of products that have been hand-made in Germany as well as a selection of pieces based on Catalan culture and traditions. One such example is the curious figure of the caganer, or ‘little pooper’, which is available as a wooden incense burner or a glass Christmas tree decoration. The Virgin of Montserrat, known as La Moreneta, the Barcelona taxi, the Christmas log, the Tío, and Gaudí-inspired designs are also available as Christmas decorations that will brighten up your tree or anywhere in the home.

You’ll also find a distinctive incense burner in the shape of Gaudí’s famous dragon from the Park Güell. And to pay tribute to visitors from home and abroad, you’ll find Christmas ornaments in the form of a customised suitcase featuring landmarks from famous cities in Spain and around the world.

A trip to Käthe Wohlfahrt’s Christmas shop is a unique experience that will amaze you due to its atmosphere and painstaking decor and the quality and originality of its items.
