New festive lights on Passeig de Gràcia

Christmas is the time of year that generates the highest footfall from locals and tourists. That’s why, this year, the Passeig de Gràcia aims to boost the city’s pulling power as a retail destination with its Christmas lights.

This year, the lights that will be decorating one of the city’s most elegant boulevards will be based on the motif of the Christmas star. 174 glittering stars, combined with 39 flat banners, will run the length of the Passeig de Gràcia. The street is gently sloping meaning that drivers and pedestrians will be able to enjoy uninterrupted views of the sequence of  lights. Energy saving is also one of the main aims of this year’s display. The lights use LED technology and have been designed to reduce the number of light sources.

From 24th November to 6th January, come and see the new festive light display. At the Barcelona Shopping Line we invite you to wander, do your shopping and enjoy one of the city’s most glamorous areas.
