Pedralbes Center Ice Rink

The famous rink opens for the 16th consecutive year in the classic New York style.

This year is the 16th birthday of the ice rink at the Pedralbes Centre which brings the spirit of the Rockefeller Center to the district of Les Corts. From 28th November to 10th January, Barcelona’s pioneering Christmas ice rink will be back to delight young and old alike. Since the sales director, Ratt Fenech, imported the idea after visiting New York, the rink has become an icon of Barcelona’s Christmas season.

Pedralbes Centre uses the ice rink to highlight its charitable work and, for the fourth year running, it will be hosting the ‘Solidarity Skate-a-thon’ on 23rd December, when all the money from ticket sales will be donated to NGOs.

Dates: 28th November to 10th January.
Price: 8 € (low-cost sessions for 4 € at specific times).
Open air (the first of its kind in Barcelona, launched in 1999).
Size: 400 m2.
Users: More than 9,000 skaters in 2014.
