Pedralbes Centre opens the city’s New York-style ice rink

The ice rink at Barcelona’s Pedralbes Centre reopens from Saturday 26th November until 8th January in the main plaza of the shopping centre to bring fun to young and old alike.

Pedralbes Centre opened Barcelona’s first open-air ice rink in 1999. Since then, the 400 m2 facility has attracted skaters from all over the city and in recent years has attracted 9,000 skaters.

For the fifth year running, it will be hosting the ‘Solidarity Skate-a-thon’ on 23rd December. Following the success of recent years, this Christmas all the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the NGOs Educo and Nepal Chhimeki.

At the Barcelona Shopping Line we invite you to enjoy this Christmas experience par excellence that will transport you to its source of inspiration: the rink at New York’s Rockefeller Center.
