Sant Jordi’s Day

Every 23 April, Barcelona is filled with roses and literature, to celebrate Sant Jordi’s Day, one of the most popular and traditional festivals of Catalonia.

This Sunday, come and visit the Barcelona Shopping Line, with streets full of stands selling roses and books. Enjoy the range of cultural activities being organized outdoors, in bookshops, stores and shopping malls, which will be open throughout the day.

The presence of renowned authors will make you want to queue to receive a signed dedication in one of their books. This is one of the most highlighted activities of the day.

If you visit the Barcelona Tourist Board in Plaça Catalunya, you will be surrounded by books and roses, and we will be delighted to give you any information you may need. In its Barcelona Original Shop, you will find gifts for everyone.

We want to celebrate this magical day with you, so all Jordis and Georginas who visit the Colom Viewing Gallery will receive a free entry.

Come and stroll through the streets, you can’t miss such a special day!
