The Passeig de Gràcia retail quarter, which is home to Barcelona’s most exclusive shops and hotels, is showing its more human side this Christmas by organising an exhibition of 12 Christmas trees, designed by 12 leading brands associated with the world of fashion.

On 30th November, to tie in with Barcelona Shopping Night, the exhibition will open in the windows of the Hotel Majestic & Spa Barcelona.

If you fall in love with one of the trees, it could be yours by bidding on www.solidarityxmastree.com or attending the gala dinner served by chef Nandu Jubany, and taking part in the auction under the gavel of Flavia Hohenloe, CEO of Sotheby’s Spain.

The money raised at the dinner and auction will be donated to the Fundación Pequeño Deseo, which has been fulfilling the dreams of children with chronic or life-limiting illnesses for more than 17 years, and the Fundación Pasqual Maragall, which carries out research into finding a cure for Alzheimer’s disease and improving the quality of life of sufferers.
