Torrons Vicens attends the 33rd Fira del Torró i la Xocolata a la Pedra in Agramunt

Torrons Vicens, a family business that has been making delicious torró since   1775,  invites you to visit the 33rd Fira del Torró i la Xocolata a la Pedra in Agramunt.

One 8th and 9th October, the town of Agramunt will be transformed into a gastronomic feast. You’ll be able to taste a variety of torró andxocolata a la pedra (a chunky chocolate bar which you melt down to make a thick drinking chocolate). There will also be workshops and talks about these delicious sweet treats. Throughout the weekend, you’ll be able to visit the different pavilions and sample and buy the products.

Torrons Vicens will have its own stand inside the Sweet Pavilion, which will be dedicated to the torró– makers whose products have been awarded protected geographical status, as well as other confectioners.

In Agramunt, you can also visit the Museu del Torró i la Xocolata a la Pedra de Torrons Vicens, a cultural attraction, which traces the history of torró and chocolate from Agramunt and Torrons Vicens. The visit will take you on a journey back in time full of sensations and experiences, which will reveal the secrets of how artisan torró is made, through images, audiovisuals and a plethora of utensils and machinery. You’ll also find a recreation of the premises where the Vicens family made their torró in 1933.

You can also visit the Torrons Vicens shops in the centre of Barcelona, where you’ll find their entire range of torró, chocolate and other specialities, from the most traditional to the latest creations made in collaboration with renowned chefs such as  Albert Adrià and José Andrés.
