{"id":22038,"date":"2023-01-25T10:05:26","date_gmt":"2023-01-25T10:05:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/barcelonashoppingcity.com\/en\/?p=22038"},"modified":"2023-01-25T11:14:55","modified_gmt":"2023-01-25T11:14:55","slug":"the-gold-fava-de-cacau-award-goes-to-the-pastisseria-escriba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/barcelonashoppingcity.com\/en\/event\/the-gold-fava-de-cacau-award-goes-to-the-pastisseria-escriba\/","title":{"rendered":"The Gold Fava de Cacau Award goes to the Pastisseria Escrib\u00e0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The town of Sant Vicen\u00e7 dels Horts has just hosted the 6th <strong>International Patisserie Festival<\/strong>, which brings together some of the most illustrious pastry chefs and confectioners from around the world, with representatives from Italy, Portugal, Armenia and Ecuador, as well as Catalonia and the rest of Spain.\u00a0The winners of the <strong>Fava de Cacau<\/strong> awards \u2013 which go to the 50 top patisseries in Catalonia \u2013 were announced during the event.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Pastisseria Escrib\u00e0<\/strong> won the award for the most innovative patisserie because \u201cfor more than 116 years, it has understood making cakes and pastries as something trailblazing and groundbreaking, without forgetting the sweet traditions rooted in our culture.<\/p>\n<p>Since 1906, this historic Barcelona patisserie has defined itself as follows: <em>\u201cwe don\u2019t only create cakes, we create dreams\u201d<\/em>. This gives us an idea of its philosophy and the special sweet delicacies that emerge from its ovens and are sold in its shops at 546 Gran Via de les Corts Catalans and inside the spectacular
