After nine years of building work the Sant Antoni Market will finally reopen this week. Stallholders and workers are busy putting the finishing touches to the new market complex which will feature 235 stalls, 52 of themselling fresh produce, 105 selling clothes, bags and accessories and 78 dedicated to the Sunday second-hand book market. The market will also have a supermarket as well as a shop selling a variety of goods.

The major refurbishment project has restored and preserved the historic façades of the 1882 building that is the most iconic landmark in the Sant Antoni neighbourhood.

On 26th and 27th May the market will be holding its opening party with lots of activities for everyone, including dances, workshops, entertainments, a shopping fair and live music.
