A new cultural and gastronomic space which shows its solidarity with good causes where you’ll be able to enjoy innovative experiences associated with Catalan history and culture. The opera house, the Gran Teatre de El Liceu, has made a firm commitment to this initiative that redefines the concepts of museum, market, restaurant and entertainment by bringing them together in a gastronomic leisure experience.

With a floor space of 950 metres, this unique place gives visitors the opportunity to enjoy five distinct areas: the Rocambolesc, the Vermuteria, the Odissea, the Diva and the Mercat. Far removed from the classic restaurant format, it opens 365 days a year from 12 noon until 1am.

A percentage of the takings will be donated to charity and the team also works to ensure that groups as risk of exclusion are provided with employment. Two thirds of the staff at Òpera Samfaina are from social welfare organisations.
