You’ll enjoy truly unique experiences when you visit the studios and workshops of Barcelona’s craftspeople and designers. In addition to spending time in their workspaces and learning their tricks of the trade, you’ll be able to try your hand at some of their techniques and take away a wonderful memento of your visit.

    Explore your creativity with your family through play and in the interactive gallery. You’ll hone your creative skills, visual memory and imagination and create a piece of pottery with your own hands!

    Visit our jewellery workshop, find out about the tools used to work the materials, and learn how a piece of jewellery is made.

  • El Bagul del Marxant

    An olfactory journey through Catalonia feeling the smell of the villages, vineyards and forests with chords of literature, sculpture and the arts of Catalan culture. Each participant will create a natural perfume of our region.

  • Empremtes de Catalunya

    Create your own fingir puppet character. You'll be able to take your finished puppet at home with you on its own stand.

  • Gemma López Barcelona

    Discover our unique, fully hand-crafted pieces of silver and gold jewellery inset with minerals. You’ll also be able to see Gemma at work in her studio, while you enjoy a coffee or glass of cava.

  • Hàbit Atelier by Miquel Barberà

    Exhibition of art jewellery. You’ll also be able to see the creative process behind the jewellery. Guided tours by the artist and designer Miquel Barberà can be arranged upon request.

  • Herboristeria del Rei

    Learn the ancient skill of preparing herbs and infusions -selecting, trimming, sifting, weighing and packaging- with the traditional methods and tools used a hundred years ago. You'll also visit one of the city's most authentic shops, the herbalist's that was one of the locations for the film Perfume.

  • Joan Rovira Joies

    Discover traditional jewellery techniques during this craft workshop.Located in a centenary space of the Born district of medieval origin of the craftspeople of Barcelona.

  • Lupo Barcelona Flagship Store

    The people at Lupo will tell you about the processes behind the creation of their products and their history. You’ll have the opportunity to visit the workshop where you’ll be able to speak to the technicians and designers who will show you their prototypes, materials and models. Afterwards you’ll visit their flagship store.

  • Merceria Santa Ana

    You’ll learn different needlecraft techniques, including cross-stitch, and how to embroider kitchen cloths, towels… inspired by the famous paving tile designed by Puig i Cadafalch. You’ll also learn how to embroider cushions and templates of paintings by Dalí, Picasso and Miró.

  • Mosaiccos

    Workshops for adults, children, families and all kinds of groups. You’ll learn to use the tools, choose a design and colours and make your first mosaic using the trencadís broken-tile technique. You’ll find out about its history and be able to take a very special and unique memento of Barcelona home with you.

  • Naikare

    Create your own album for your photos, museum and cinema tickets, leaflets, cards and other mementoes at this book-binding workshop for adults and families.

    A change for lovers of leather and fur to learn about the process of creating the garments you can find in the store. This can be enjoyed with a glass of cava or sherry, and there are special offers when you purchase in the store.

    You’ll learn the basic techniques to start working with leather and interesting facts about the material. You’ll create a unique, one-off repoussé leather picture with your own hands!

  • Sombrerería Mil

    Workshop where you’ll learn about the different finishes for hats and the materials used. You’ll also be able to enjoy a glass of cava, wine, or a cup of tea, with a snack.

  • Toni Pons

    Find out how espadrilles are made, and learn about the natural materials used and the different stages in making this unique footwear with traditional, artisan methods. Includes a gift from the brand at the end of the activity.

  • Wonder Photo Shop

    Short workshop showing you how to create a travel album with pockets for keeping all the mementos of your trip. You'll also learn how to sew together a booklet and add an elastic band to keep it closed. Includes a tour of the shop and snacks plus drinks.
